Krista believes that every person deserves the chance to become the best version of themselves. She strives to provide a safe, supportive alliance where clients have the space to be vulnerable and honest. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, Krista works with adults, couples, teens, and families dealing with a wide variety of challenges, including:
- Anxiety and depression
- Identity development
- Relationship struggles
- Maternity and postpartum issues
- Parenting challenges
- Family conflict
- Life transitions
- Grief and loss
Krista works to help clients develop deeper, more meaningful connections with those around them and is currently pursing training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She is also passionate about supporting parents as they enter new parenthood or care for children with special needs and is pursuing certification in maternity and postpartum counseling.
Krista received her MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pfeiffer University and her BS in Psychology from Houghton College in Houghton, NY.
When she’s not at the office, Krista enjoys spending time with her husband and son as well as their three dogs. On a free afternoon, she can be found riding her horse or exploring new tv shows and podcasts.
