Kristen is passionate about journeying with clients as they move toward new places of restoration and hope. Her goal is to provide a safe environment where people can grow and flourish. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Kristen helps children, teens, adults, and couples work through wide variety of areas including:
- Depression and anxiety
- Grief and loss
- Divorce and separation
- Fear and anger
- Life transitions
- Relationship conflict
- Career counseling
- Spiritual struggles
Kristen has a heart for helping children grow and develop to be emotionally healthy and self-confident. She uses play therapy, the natural language of children, to meet them where they are and is currently pursuing certification as a Registered Play Therapist. Kristen is also certified in the PREPARE/ENRICH relationship inventory, Strong Interest Inventory for career planning, and the MBTI and DiSC personality assessments.
Kristen received her MA in Counseling from Columbia International University and her BA in Education from Clemson University.
Outside of work, Kristen enjoys traveling, college football (Go Tigers!), and spending time with family and friends.
